Same hands, feet, brain, time and place – Look, they surround you
How did we all get here at the same time? Billions, if you study earth

Thousands if you walk city streets

And observe the pace of your company – Some fade in a few steps

Others are obstreperous Gaining until they fade Glistening visions of superiority Until “No one gets out alive” Becomes a normative directive And you sanctify every moment

Then the window opens
And all the wind that nature can summon Blows through your pores
Leaving you clean and empty
As if God had reclaimed your life force
