HE SPEAKS TO THE WIND –

He speaks to the wind –

So, what do you want most

When you are old?

And the breeze piped up

Requesting tranquility

A time to rest and reflect

While the storm spoke up

Out of the blue

And demanded the opportunity to blow

And let all humans know

That he was the greatest of all winds –

And then the calm whispered

We are already quiet –

Just listen to the inside

Where all answers are given

Accompanied by a melody

That suits its identity

And if you are grateful, joyful and calm

The world yields

And those qualities are reflected back

            While the docile are ignored

            And the vehement are overwhelmed

The one who resides in the middle

Flows through both difficulties and time

            Unscathed by derision

Because it is perceived openly –

            Certain that the unfortunate

            Are bound to exhibit frustration

            And the receiver

Could very well be your apparition –

Merely, the idea of a ghost

While the spirit is as real as the wind.                                                          221214.2
