A worthy trail left behind
Looking back, the path appears straight
Instead of the sharp turns you experienced.
Dreams are more short term
Ahead somewhere in the haze
An unforeseen chasm –
Shall we crash?
Look up and ask
Or leap across the void?
Daily choices exhaust themselves.
The view of life becomes consistent.
All the rough edges smoothed
The river runs swiftly beside the road
Words run out of meaning
Only said to describe your personal view
No attempts to convince
No knowing expressions
