            If observed objectively

These emotions balance eventually

It is the nature of humans

To feel joy and pain

And it is a goal of wisdom

To know they are one and the same

And to live out good years

Untroubled by the changes

As they cycle through our lives

            You can sit idle

            And be flying across the sea

            Soon to land on a lovely island
