IT’S A HARD FLOOD
It’s a hard flood
Rolling suitcases across the borders
Caravans of settlers
Open to buy into America
Leave their problems
Back in the old country
Let someone else settle them
Pay a fee and get delivery
Open to purchase a car
Open to buy some land
Kids in school with free books
Throw in some food assistance
And they are in the chase.
Just keeps the votes coming
Rest easy in the relative safety
Taken out of the Narco run countries
Government generally lets you alone
Listen to the radio, stay on the web
Keep in touch with mama
Go get some money, send it back
Be a hero and get paid for it
Let the aimless U.S. taxpayer pay
They still have trillions.
Let them eat cake
Maybe spice it with some Fentanyl
For their adventurous, foolish kids
Spoiled in the lap of luxury no longer
Having to find solace in the past
The offspring of the “greatest generation”
Wallow in pills of selfish consumption –
Getting what they can
