IN THEY ROLL
In they roll
An hour diatribe by the dictator.
The “Press” looks on approvingly.
In 1994 Bill Clinton and Great Britain
Took the nukes out of Ukraine
Sent them to Russia
For a piece of paper
Strategically not a “treaty”
Under the “interpretation” used at the time
Ever since they have been under threat
Invasion with troops is just a next step.
A thousand years ago
Vikings settled and Kievrus
Was the first “Russian” territory.
Putin harks back to that
While he waited for a bad U.S. President
From whom he can extract
Under threat
Whatever concession he can get
And die in 20 years
A “Russian Hero” uniting Russia
In comes Winken, Blinken and Nod
She smirks and winks
Blinken blathers
Biden nods off
A pickle for 3 more years
In the wings, Pelosi
Pointing crooked claws
At imaginary adversaries
She invents to fit her narrative
Caving as tech buries thought
Under an avalanche of stock options
Usurping our attention and focus with divisions 220222.1
