HER MAGNETIC TORSO
Starting off
You get pick of the litter
You choose
Life – the ultimate shopping trip.
And the pretty girl
Who plays the right cards
May be into some money
Or she may pick handsome Johnny
Or pursue her own career
Remembering how to captivate
How to capture
And how to keep
For it ails the young woman
To win what she wanted
But to lose it before saturation.
The point at which she has had enough
Of the spoils of the quest
And seeks to be searching again
Power being used
Her magnetic torso
Attracting from all directions
From the west
They came ashore
From the east
They descended sand dunes
To run in the surf
While the rich came from the north
And owned the land
But she eyed the southerner
With the steady gaze
And the model’s pout
And into his hand she slipped hers
