BREACH OF SECURITY
Innumerable complex developments
Life born, lived, lost, remainders.
Unmarked, driverless cars loom
Passengers survey the world
On an internet phone
Reaching a designation they disembark
Auto pilot scrolls for the next pick-up
Off it goes
Competing with other moving computers
With protoplasm in the backseats
Turning more pointless and useless by the year
Until China became the proprietor
Of all the transit data –
Just a little breach of security
At government/Google headquarters
Where the directions are distributed
So as to avoid congestion
Until old LiPo/premier says “no.”
And then all the cars and pods
Go where they are told
Creating national gridlock –
Collapse of systems, as it were –
And only those old vehicles
That can’t find gas anywhere
Run where you want.
So we convert and turn them solar
Riding around free again
Where government agents are scarce –
Else they confiscate and burn
Like the firemen in Fahrenheit 451
But these are not libraries or books –
These were Fords, Chevys and Ferraris
And they burn with black smoke 190504.2
