Apart from consciousness
No absolute truth exists.
Go your own way
Free from anger, lust and dogmas
Stainless
Leaving no trace
Just pure goodness from the heart
A mobile source of compassion
Walking the forests of disease and corruption
Clinging to nothing and no one
The moth lands on the window
Attracted by the light inside
We repeat the experiment
But the light is outside
Already with the moth
He does not need to seek it
And it will rise
And illuminate his entire world
If it waits, patient
Observant of his own beauty
In its surroundings a perfect fit
Flitting from flower to flower
As though a dance
To the enticement of nectar
And then the superlatives flowed –
All the press agreed on a list –
Adjectives that were acceptable
And threw them into an app –
Sports hero rap –
And out comes a newsfeed
From all the major corporate media players
And they all agree, for one day.
And then the haters and doubters rise again.
